M2- Write a report explaining the legal and ethical issues around your photography shoot.

Image
I have been given a brief to take images to describe Doncaster in a positive way. In order to do this I will need to discuss the legal and ethical issues that I will need to consider for the locations that I will be taking the images in Doncaster. I will need to follow these rules and regulations so I can prevent anything serious from happening. Things that I will need to consider are things like; taking shots of the public, private property, harassment, invasion of privacy, data protection act etc.  The first legal issue that I will need to consider will be about taking images in public places. As long as you are not causing any harassment or acts of terrorism, you are allowed to take images of people in public places legal despite people believing that this is ethically incorrect. This means that I am allowed to take images of people in public places without their consent. I will ask people for consent if I was to take images of people in the public as I believe that it is ethica...

Notes

https://www.institute-of-photography.com/your-rights-as-a-photographer You have the right to photograph any subject as long as you are in a public place and it is not done for the purposes of terrorism. https://improvephotography.com/48423/model-release/ Generally, a model release is only required if the way the photo is published makes it seem that the person in the photo endorses the product, service, or organization.  http://www.photographers-resource.co.uk/photography/Legal/Access_Rights.htm On private property, that you have been granted access to, you can take photographs unless you are asked not to, or where in being granted access its not a contractual term that you do not take photographs, usually this is not a blanket restriction more of a commercial restriction on the use of the photographs. A raw image is an image file that contains unprocessed or

P2- Plan a shoot

Image
The purpose of my shoot is to take photos that match the brief of beautiful Doncaster. This means i have to find photos that show the good side of Doncaster with my style of photography. My style of photography is urban photography. We are allowed to capture the shots in either portrait, landscape, urban and rural shots to showcase the local area. These images will be taken in the public of Doncaster. When taking these photos, we need to make sure that we take health, safety and ethics into consideration. For example, we shouldn't take images of people without their consent. Mood Board: Shots taken: The first shot I plan to create will be in the train station in Doncaster. I will lower the shutter speed down on the camera in order to capture the train moving perfectly for the shot. The image will be a landscape image and the image will follow the golden ratio because the main point of the image (the train) will be on either the left or the right of the picture.  The second shot I p...

M1- Create a report or presentation on yourself.

My style of photography is urban photography. This is because focusing on the study of objects and elements in an urban society usually emphasises the surroundings and uses them to create meaning. I prefer images that are taken in the dark this is because images in the dark are easier to create mystery in images. I also like to capture shots of big cities of buildings to show the work that humans have created in big cities in the world.  These images are examples of my urban style photography. These two shots that I have taken beforehand are focusing on certain objects in an urban society to emphasis the surroundings and to create meaning in the photos. These shots are captures of human made designs which is a similar description to my influence in photography.  This images that I have taken influence from is an image that has been taken in a New York train station. I like this images because the genre of the city is so broad that it is hard to figure out which city it was tak...
